Love the Belgian Tripels (and pretty much everything else Belgian...except Stella) and this NYE we had a toast with the Gulden Draak. I know it's not a tripel but a golden but it has become my favorite beer of the moment. I knew from the $16 I paid for a pint at 13.5% that I had no choice but to love it. Although I can't say a $64 bar tab for 4 beers is a cool way to go, after 2 pints i just couldn't stop drinkin' it. Who woulda thought 12% abv would go down so smooth? Oh wait, this response has nothing to do with tripels. Sorry. Doctor, I concur.
